Why it was built

Built for a food brand selling a few flavors direct to US home cooks who may never have tried them. The site has to show what each one tastes like and what to cook with it before it asks for the order.

The sample business

JANG! makes three gochujang sauces, fermented in Korea and sold to home cooks across the US. Many of them have never cooked with gochujang, so the site has to show what each bottle tastes like and what it goes on before it asks for the sale.

What the site does

  • Opens on three flavors, Original Red, Smoky Black and Citrus Gold, each with its bottle, color and ingredients
  • Gives every flavor a page with its heat, size, ingredients and three dishes to try
  • Sells the $39 Trio, the $72 Party Pack and single $14 bottles from one shop page
  • Keeps a cart drawer across pages, with quantities and removal, and checkout turned off
  • Tells the story of the fermentation and the JANG! standard, from Seoul to Los Angeles
  • Answers six common questions and takes a wholesale inquiry

Pages

  • Home — rotating three-flavor hero, choose your heat, uses, the Trio and a review ticker
  • Flavors — an overview, then one page per flavor with heat, size, ingredients and three dishes
  • Shop — bundles and single bottles, with a cart drawer kept across pages; checkout is off in the demo
  • Our Jang — the fermentation story, the brand standard and the Seoul and Los Angeles roots
  • FAQ — common questions and a wholesale inquiry form for restaurants and markets
  • Footer — newsletter sign-up and links to every flavor and bundle

How it moves

  • A burst intro grows the JANG! wordmark, then a curtain lifts on the first bottle
  • The hero turns through the three flavors every six seconds, its color disc fading to each new one
  • Ingredients drift with the pointer at different depths, and with the scroll further down
  • Flavor and review rows run past as tickers, and the cards in What's inside stack up

Who it suits

  • Sauce, condiment and spice brands selling direct to consumers
  • Korean food brands introducing a new flavor to US shoppers
  • Small-batch food makers with a few products and bundles
  • Food brands that also want wholesale inquiries from restaurants and markets

Make it yours

Swap in your name, logo, product photos, flavors, prices and story. Connect your domain and the wholesale form to your email, and a store platform such as Shopify can be connected for checkout. One idea is a recipe page per product, linked from each flavor page.

  • Use it as isYour name, logo, photos and details go in, your domain is connected, and it opens with this design.
  • Build on itKeep what works for you and we change the rest around your business: layout, colors, pages and features.

This demo is a store: selling online needs the store option (Shopify Headless). See what each level includes →

The business is fictional: names, addresses and phone numbers are samples. The site itself works as you see it.
