Why it was built

Built for a food truck that parks somewhere different every day. Its site has to tell people where the truck is tonight, show a menu they can order from, and bring in catering and private-event requests.

The sample business

A Korean BBQ taco truck that moves around LA through the week, from Koreatown on Wednesday to Smorgasburg on Sunday. People want three answers fast: where the truck is tonight, what to eat and what catering costs. The site leads with all three.

What the site does

  • Shows where the truck is now and the week's five stops on an LA map, worked out in Los Angeles time
  • Builds a $16 three-taco flight, with the total and a heat meter updating as each taco lands
  • Filters the menu for spicy, mild, vegan or fan favorites, with a shareable link for each filter
  • Lists brewery nights, pop-ups and festivals with calendar files; past dates drop off by themselves
  • Lets guests pick a gift card's amount, design and delivery and see the card change as they choose
  • Prices catering from the service, 25 to 300 guests and add-ons, then takes a quote request

Pages

  • Home — where the truck is now, the menu with a three-taco flight, this week's stops, the story and catering
  • Menu — tacos, sides and drinks with heat levels and filters, plus an order cart for pickup
  • Find the Truck — live status, the week's five stops on an LA map and good-to-know notes
  • Events — Taproom Tuesdays, pop-ups and festivals with add-to-calendar buttons, and private hire
  • Catering — two ways to cater, an instant estimate for 25 to 300 guests and a quote request
  • Gift Cards — pick an amount, a design and delivery, with the card updating as you choose
  • Story — how the food is cooked and the three house sauces

How it moves

  • SEOUL and FIRE slam down letter by letter with a screen shake, then the stickers slap on
  • Embers rise over the tacos and the layers shift with the pointer
  • A drawn truck drives across a road band as you scroll, puffing exhaust
  • Pages change behind lime, red and ink stripes
  • Filtered cards fade out, then the rest glide into place

Who it suits

  • Food trucks that move between neighborhoods through the week
  • Pop-up kitchens and farmers market stands
  • Street food brands that also take catering and private events
  • Taco, BBQ and fusion trucks with a loud, fun brand

Make it yours

Swap in the truck's name, logo, photos, menu and prices, and set the weekly stops and event dates. Connect the domain, send catering quotes to the owner's email, and connect an online ordering or gift card service to the cart and gift card buttons. One idea is a second route page for a second truck.

  • Use it as isYour name, logo, photos and details go in, your domain is connected, and it opens with this design.
  • Build on itKeep what works for you and we change the rest around your business: layout, colors, pages and features.

The business is fictional: names, addresses and phone numbers are samples. The site itself works as you see it.
