Why it was built

Built for a sit-down dinner restaurant that takes reservations and has a private room. The site has to show the menu, fill tables on busy nights and bring in private dining inquiries.

The sample business

A Korean charcoal grill on West 6th Street in Koreatown, open every night from 5 PM. Diners choose a place like this by the meat, the room and how easy it is to get a table, so the site keeps the menu, private dining and booking one tap from the first screen.

What the site does

  • Opens on four signature plates, from the $48 Hwa Ro Galbi to the brass bowl naengmyeon
  • Lays out the full menu in four sections (grill, kitchen, noodles and rice, drinks) with sticky links
  • Features The Hwa Ro Table, a $138 set for two
  • Presents a private room for 18 guests with two set menus and an inquiry form
  • Takes reservations with a note for parties of seven or more, next to hours, address and parking
  • Checks every form field and shows a confirmation, with nothing sent

Pages

  • Home — signature plates, the story, how dinner at the grill goes, private dining and a press quote
  • Menu — grill, kitchen, noodles and rice, and drinks, with section links and a set for two
  • Private Dining — a room for up to 18, two set menus, how booking works and an inquiry form
  • Reservations and Visit — a table booking form beside address, hours, phone, parking and directions

How it moves

  • The hero photo of short rib over the coals settles slowly into place
  • Sections rise and fade in as you scroll, the four plates one after another
  • Plate photos zoom in slightly on hover and the header turns solid once you scroll

Who it suits

  • Korean BBQ and charcoal grill restaurants
  • Steakhouses and other dinner-first restaurants
  • Restaurants with a private room for parties and company dinners
  • Omakase and tasting-menu restaurants that book ahead

Make it yours

Swap in the restaurant's name, logo, photos, menu and prices, hours, address and parking notes. Connect the domain and send reservation and private dining requests to the restaurant's email, or connect the reservation tool it already uses. One idea is a page for a seasonal or holiday set menu.

  • Use it as isYour name, logo, photos and details go in, your domain is connected, and it opens with this design.
  • Build on itKeep what works for you and we change the rest around your business: layout, colors, pages and features.

The business is fictional: names, addresses and phone numbers are samples. The site itself works as you see it.
