Why it was built

Built for a small takeout shop where most orders are called in and picked up at the window. The site has to show what to order, say whether the shop is open right now and make it easy to call, order pickup and find parking.

The sample business

A small takeout shop on Garden Grove Boulevard that makes tteokbokki in a big pan by the window and rolls kimbap to order. Most customers call ahead and grab a bag at the pickup window, so the one page shows what to order, whether the shop is open right now and where to pull in.

What the site does

  • Opens on the shop name in big round letters, with call and pickup buttons in the first screen
  • Two handwritten lines on a page of notebook paper say what the shop does
  • Shows six signature dishes and the 떡튀 set, with large Korean names, English names and a line on each
  • Puts the full handwritten menu board up as an image that opens full size
  • Gives the hours, closed Mondays, with a line that says whether the shop is open right now in California
  • Gives the address, pickup window, parking and a drawn plaza map with directions

Pages

  • Opening (the whole site is one page) — the shop name, call and pickup buttons, a takeout sticker
  • Intro — two handwritten lines on notebook paper about the shop
  • Signature dishes — six dishes with Korean and English names, plus a set with its own pickup button
  • Menu board — the full handwritten board as an image that opens full size
  • Hours — days and times, the closed day, and a line that says whether it is open right now
  • Find us — address, pickup window, parking and a drawn plaza map with directions

How it moves

  • The letters of the shop name squash and bounce into place as the page opens
  • The takeout sticker on the hero photo wobbles slowly
  • Dish photos jiggle like a soft rice cake on hover, and sections rise into place once as you scroll

Who it suits

  • Bunsik and Korean street food shops
  • Kimbap, dosirak and banchan takeout shops
  • Chicken and snack shops that run on call-ahead orders
  • Small family-run takeout counters in plazas

Make it yours

Swap in your name, logo, dish photos, menu board and prices, hours and address. Connect your domain; the call buttons dial your shop, and the pickup buttons can be connected to your online ordering link. You could also add a party-tray section for kimbap and tteokbokki orders for events.

  • Use it as isYour name, logo, photos and details go in, your domain is connected, and it opens with this design.
  • Build on itKeep what works for you and we change the rest around your business: layout, colors, pages and features.

Taken as it is, this demo is a Basic build. See what each level includes →

The business is fictional: names, addresses and phone numbers are samples. The site itself works as you see it.
