Why it was built

Built for a class or after-school program for children, where the website has one job, getting parents to book a free trial. Parents compare age fit, schedule and how the trial works, so every page leads there.

The sample business

NOLI teaches art to children from 4 to 13, with a Saturday class for parents and kids together. Parents in Koreatown compare studios on the age fit, the schedule and how a trial works, so the site leads with classes by age and ends every page at the free trial.

What the site does

  • Sorts four classes by age, each with what children learn, materials, class size and length
  • Filters the weekly timetable by class
  • Shows twelve example works by drawing, clay, collage and family, in a lightbox
  • Suggests the right class when a parent picks the child's age on the trial form
  • Checks the form in Korean, accepting US phone numbers typed any way

Pages

  • Home — the clay hero, philosophy, classes, student work, process, parent notes and a clay playground
  • Classes — four classes by age, a weekly timetable with a class filter, and fees
  • Gallery — twelve works sorted by drawing, clay, collage and family, in a lightbox
  • Free trial — a form that suggests a class by age and asks for days and contact language, plus an FAQ

How it moves

  • A clay sculpture drops onto its plinth piece by piece and scatters as you scroll
  • Class cards tilt toward the pointer and their object pops out of the frame
  • A rainbow arch draws itself in line, turns to grey clay, then to colour
  • Clay objects fall into the last section, where you can drag, throw and poke them

Who it suits

  • Kids art, music, coding or dance studios
  • After-school programs and tutoring academies
  • Parent-and-child classes and weekend workshops
  • Programs run in both Korean and English in the US

Make it yours

Swap in your name, logo, classes, timetable, fees and photos of real student work, and trade the clay objects for things from your subject, like instruments for a music school. Connect your domain and the trial form to your email. One idea is to let a family sign up two children on one form.

  • Use it as isYour name, logo, photos and details go in, your domain is connected, and it opens with this design.
  • Build on itKeep what works for you and we change the rest around your business: layout, colors, pages and features.

The business is fictional: names, addresses and phone numbers are samples. The site itself works as you see it.
