Why it was built

Built for an independent agent or advisor whose clients arrive with big questions and no idea where to start. The site has to answer those questions in plain language and turn a visit into a consultation request.

The sample business

Steadwell is the practice of Jiwon Han, a Korean-speaking retirement and annuity agent on Wilshire Boulevard whose clients are mostly small business owners close to retiring. They arrive asking about income after the shop closes, Social Security and Medicare, so the site starts from those questions and leads to a consultation.

What the site does

  • Asks the three questions owners bring, from income after closing the shop to Medicare at 65
  • Counts the years and months left to 70 from an age slider, with a dot for every month
  • Explains four planning areas: annuity, life and IUL, Medicare and long-term care
  • Adds an area to the consultation form in one tap, along with the age group from the slider
  • Lays out four steps, from a free 15-minute call to follow-up after signing
  • Takes a request with name and phone checked in Korean, then confirms what was picked

Pages

  • One-page site, opening — headline over a photo, a consultation button and a link to how it works
  • Three questions — the questions clients bring first, each with a short answer and a photo
  • Time left — an age slider that counts the years and months to 70, one dot per month
  • Planning areas — four areas with what each covers and a button that adds it to the consultation
  • How it works — four steps, from a 15-minute call to follow-up after signing
  • Life after work — a full-width lifestyle photo with a short message
  • Meet your agent — photo, license number, a short story and three sample reviews
  • Consultation — topics, name, phone, age group and a question, with a summary of what was picked

How it moves

  • An amber sun rises over a thin horizon before the name comes up and the cream screen lifts
  • The three questions take turns while their photos cross-fade and a rail fills
  • The four planning cards start out in the corners and gather into one picture as you scroll
  • A line draws down through the steps, and the lifestyle photo opens from a narrow window

Who it suits

  • Retirement, annuity and life insurance agents
  • Medicare and health insurance brokers
  • Financial planners and tax offices that start with a consultation
  • Estate planning and elder law offices

Make it yours

Your name, photo, license number, planning areas, steps, office address and phone go in, and the slider can count to the age your clients plan around. Connect your domain, and the form can be sent to your email or connected to your calendar tool. One idea: swap the three questions for the ones your clients ask most.

  • Use it as isYour name, logo, photos and details go in, your domain is connected, and it opens with this design.
  • Build on itKeep what works for you and we change the rest around your business: layout, colors, pages and features.

The business is fictional: names, addresses and phone numbers are samples. The site itself works as you see it.
